Fickle EulogyFresh from a successful debut at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, La Nix Productions brings Fickle Eulogy to The BCN Studio in Barcelona before performing in London in August 2025 on a wave of raving audience response.
This gripping solo performance follows a woman grappling with her mother's sudden death from COVID-19 against the backdrop of a world fractured by conspiracy theories, media spin, and fear-driven narratives.
Based on true events, FickleEulogy delves into the messy, unpredictable nature of mourning. The audience meets Ann as she prepares to deliver a loving eulogy for her mother, Sue, who chose not to vaccinate, mistrusted science, and tragically died of COVID-19.
As the funeral looms, Ann wrestles with grief, frustration, and guilt, slipping into different characters and memories in a whirlwind of humour, raw emotion, and searing honesty.
What begins as tentative procrastination becomes an unfiltered exploration of loss, love, and the labour of letting go.
