The American-Canadian singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright will perform his enchanting melodies live as part of Festival Pedralbes on June 5th. Praised by The New York Times for his ‘genuine originality’, Wainwright has released seven studio albums, has collaborated with such international names as Elton John and Boy George, and has even featured on the soundtracks of Shrek (2001) and Moulin Rouge! (2001). His performance in Barcelona is just one stop on his current world tour. Wainwright's pared-down set will feature a selection of his most famous songs, which he will perform on the piano.
