Set in a medieval castle, hosting artists both big and small, the Castell de Peralada Festival is a unique and exceptional project. Through private initiative with a public vocation, the festival contributes to cultural enrichment through new commissions and new productions.
Hosting large concerts in the gardens and smaller, more intimate recitals in the church and cloister, you'll find a wide range of artists performing rock, pop, ballet and opera. This year's festival opens with exceptional duo formed by two of today's most compelling operatic voices: soprano Ermonela Jaho and tenor Benjamin Bernheim, accompanied on the piano by Marcos Madrigal. The short but intense festival program also includes performances from Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel; Spanish singer and composer Sílvia Pérez Cruz; Le Terroir, the latest creation from award-winning choreographer and dancer Lorena Nogal; The Trio Fortuny with special guest Judit Neddermann; Soprano Sara Blanch and tenor Michael Spyres; and many more!
