This second edition of Festival 42 will include more young adult fantasy literature than ever, with major national and international authors in attendance, and interactive events aimed at younger audiences.
The festival will also host new sections centered around the relationship between mental health and fantasy genres, on leading European authors writing in languages other than English, as well as on how women are portrayed in fantasy and the alternative sexualities that have always been explored in this genre.
The three-day event will include activities that go beyond books and authors, including workshops, talks, discussions, live podcasts, games, competitions, literary tours and other interactive activities.
