Barcelona is gearing up for a big week with the Festa del Tour, an extensive program of activities set to turn the city into the focal point of the atmosphere ahead of the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026.
The city’s ten districts will be hosting over fifty free activities from June 26th to July 5th, designed to bring the spirit of the Tour de France to members of the public. The program includes concerts, family activities, traveling shows, traditional culture, exhibitions and participatory activities in different spaces around Barcelona.
Notable activities include the show float Le Tour on Tour, which will be making its way around the city’s neighborhoods, plus Barcelona en ruta, with artistic and cultural interventions around the districts. In addition, Plaça de la Catedral and Plaça Margarida Xirgu will become the main scenarios for the music and culture program.
The Festa del Tour is the grand prelude to the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026, which puts Barcelona in the world cycling spotlight on July 4th and 5th.
