With a delicate and essential style, the Catalan singer-songwriter has always sought to create his own universe through suggestive lyrics, colorful instrumentation and that touch of ambiguous but at the same time comforting romanticism. In the world of Palau nothing is what it seems and everything converges in a depth where light and darkness coexist. With his fourth solo album, Kevin (Hidden Track Records, 2019), that of Esparraguera follows the trail of the path started with Blanc (Halley Records, 2018), the album that catapulted him definitively as one of the most personal voices on the scene Catalan independent, and for which he has once again had the production of Jordi Matas (member of the Petit de Cal Eril).
The upcoming concert at BARTS will feature new songs from his fifth album Parc (2021) scheduled to be released in February.
