The year’s most Christmassy family fun run is a five kilometer circuit around the Parc del Fòrum, which you can walk or run with family and friends. And, to make this the most Christmassy and family centered event of the year, participants will get a kit with a full Father Christmas outfit for adults and elf costumes for the kids, consisting of trousers, a belt, a jacket, cap and beard.
The Cursa Pare Noel promotes participation for all ages and abilities. Adults over 12 run in the Santa Claus category, while children under 12 join as elves. All participants receive a full costume, a race bib with an electronic timing chip, a participation certificate and a gift bag from sponsors. Each runner contributes to creating a joyful, inclusive and family-friendly environment, where the focus is on celebration, fun and community, rather than competition. In this way, participants run not only for themselves, but also do it to share happiness with their friends, family and the wider community. After the race, runners and spectators can enjoy a festive dance or fitness session, ensuring that everyone can take part in the celebrations.
The event also has a charitable component, with a portion of the registration fees supporting the Red Cross Christmas toy campaign. Beyond the race itself, the run fosters community spirit, holiday cheer and shared experiences. By combining fun, tradition and social responsibility, it encourages families, friends and individuals to celebrate the season together.
