Efren Alvarez

This, Efren Àlvarez's first solo show in the gallery, concerns itself with the representation of complex dynamics and social situations. In the past, Àlvarez has busied himself with making an exhaustive map of Catalan politics in an attempt to demonstrate that a transparent democracy needn't be a pipe dream.

In this exhibition, ´Home Decorations´, he looks at social iconography, inspired in part by the work of political cartoonists.
