Originally based in Melbourne, Australia, The Drones left down under for Europe back in 2005 hoping to branch into the European rock-music scene. Their music, referred to as rock but often categorised as 'noisy blues', has had great success across Europe, resulting in sell-out shows in London on the same tour that brings them to the Catalan capital this month. Inspired by Velvet Underground, Van Morrison and Bob Dylan to name a few, The Drones are to perform recent material including songs 'Nail It Down' and 'Careful As You Go'.
