Dorian Wood is in town paying homage to the great Costa Rican singer Chavela Vargas at the Voll-Damm Jazz fest!
Dorian released his first album Xala in 2017, and his powerful voice has forged a name for himself in the queer scene of Los Angeles as an avant-garde creator in a constant artistic search. He plays the music of famous Costa Rican singer Chavela Vargas with the show Xavela Lux Aeterna.
It's a very personal tribute to the singer's Costa Rican origins, and is played alongside an exquisite string quartet conducted by the Valencian Alberto Montero.
IMPORTANT: Children under 16 years old will only be able to access the premises accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian. It is essential to present the responsibility sheet (see attached documents) duly printed and completed.
