This past May, DeWolff traveled to Muscle Shoals, Alabama to record their tenth studio album with Grammy-winning producer Ben Tanner at the legendary FAME Studio and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Musical heroes like Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, the Stones, Leon Russell, the Black Keys, and hundreds of other legendary artists recorded world-famous records at these studios. “You can really feel some rock n’ roll magic in the air there. When we played our first notes I got chills—there was that sound I’d been hearing on all those classic albums! It’s definitely been one of the coolest recording experiences we’ve ever had.” says singer and guitarist Pablo Van de Poel.

It comes as no surprise that this tenth DeWolff album bears the influence of the rich musical history that was written in those very studios 50 years ago. Still, DeWolff will always sound like DeWolff: an explosion of the rebellious ferocity of its time, leaving you speechless with its blend of blues, soul, psychedelia and southern rock—all with a Dutch twist!
