"Let me tell you, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love." With this quote from Ernesto Che Guevara as the main premise, Juana Dolores takes a historical and theoretical journey through the concept of love in the revolutionary tradition, while simultaneously equating and comparing her class-based resentment and hatred with her sentimental resentment and hatred. She asks herself: what kind of love could exist under communism, and how would it differ from love under capitalism? For now, in a context of capitalist crisis and, consequently, the rise of the far right and new fascisms, the artist confesses that she can only feel, think, and work from the certainty that the only true love possible in this world of material and spiritual poverty is love for the revolution—and to commit herself to the lucidity and passion that characterize lovers who are reciprocated.
