Is Decision to Leave a thriller? Is it a romantic drama? The truth is, Park Chan-wook's film is a masterclass in cinema. A tragedy where love gives meaning to everything. With elegant staging and a nuanced narrative, the film constructs a story where hidden emotions are as enigmatic as the crime that triggers them.

When a man is found dead at the foot of a mountain, seasoned detective Hae-jun is assigned to investigate what initially appears to be an accident. However, the circumstances surrounding the death arouse his suspicions and lead him to Seo-rae, the enigmatic widow of the deceased. Far from being distraught, the woman maintains a serene and ambiguous demeanor that baffles the investigator.

Tang Wei's performance in Decision to Leave is one of the film's most fascinating elements. The actress embodies Seo-rae, a woman shrouded in mystery from her very first appearance. Far from constructing a clearly guilty or innocent character, Tang Wei constantly plays with ambiguity: every gesture, look, or silence can be interpreted in several ways.

Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Spanish.
