David Pastor, international trumpeter from Sedaví, presents his 14th album, Dizzyness, recorded live at the Abraxas Theater in Augsburg (Germany). A tribute to Dizzy Gillespie, jazz legend and bebop innovator, who marked a before and after in the history of music. With more than three decades of career, Pastor is an international reference for the trumpet, standing out for his passion, impeccable technique and deep respect for the jazz tradition. Dizzyness is not only a tribute, but a vibrant celebration of jazz heritage, fusing innovation and the essence of the great masters.
Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists such as Presuntos Implicados, Michael Bublé, Celia Cruz, Martirio, Miguel Poveda and many more, and has participated in international festivals such as Montreux (Switzerland), Eurojazz (Mexico) and the Montreal International Jazz Festival (Canada). In addition to his work as a performer, David Pastor is a teacher at the Escuela Superior de Estudios Musicales Taller de Músicos and director of the Original Jazz Orquestra. He also teaches at the Jaume I University and is a trumpet teacher at ESMAR.
