His last performance in Barcelona was at the Festival Cruïlla, and fortunately, his next one will be too:

David Byrne returns to Festival Cruïlla to offer another unmissable performance. After smashing it with his musical, album, tour, and film American Utopia, the Scottish artist will present a new album and a new stage show that is sure to revolutionize everything once again.

Who Is the Sky?, the latest album from the former frontman of new wave band Talking Heads, is a vibrant and daring work that combines Cuban rhythms, his characteristic wit, and orchestral arrangements, inseparable from New York’s Ghost Train Orchestra. It is the result of creative work that began when he finished his Grammy-winning stint on Broadway, inviting us to reflect on optimistic themes, human connections, and social potential against the chaotic backdrop that the world has become, as well as the inexplicability of love. Once again, David Byrne walks the line between accessible pop and the avant-garde with this new album, on which he has collaborated with producer Kid Harpoon, Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams, multi-instrumentalist St. Vincent, and The Smile’s drummer Tom Skinner.
