Paris-based British pianist and composer Dave Bristow brings his quintet to Jamboree to present Sides, his brand-new sophomore album—a bold statement of artistic growth, emotional depth and creative maturity.

Recorded over two sessions, fourteen months apart, the project emerges from a world shaped by post-pandemic uncertainty and social transformation, translating these experiences into winding, chaotic improvisations that contrast with hopeful melodies and precisely structured compositions.

Featuring Christian Altehülshorst, Félix Hardouin, Gabriel Pierre and Guillaume Prévost, this quintet delivers a forward-thinking sound that seeks to make its mark on both the European and international jazz scenes.
