The son of a gospel singer, Curtis Harding traveled across the United States in a van with his mother from a very young age, singing in churches and working in homeless shelters.
After founding the band Night Sun with Cole Alexander of Black Lips and Danny Lee of The Night Beats, Harding debuted with Soul Power, consolidated his sound with Face Your Fear, and expanded his horizons with If Words Were Flowers, his most experimental album to date: a playful blend of vintage soul, hip hop, rhythm ‘n’ blues, garage and psychedelia, produced with Sam Cohen.
Harding comes to Barcelona to present his upcoming album Departures & Arrivals: Adventures of Captain Curt, a new release led by the single "There She Goes," a violin-laden psychedelic soul track with a music video by Michele Civetta and starring actor Omar Dorsey (Queen Sugar, Selma).
