The dramatic fiction Couture immerses us in the world of haute couture in Paris. Angelina Jolie stars as Maxine Walker, an independent film director who arrives in the French capital to shoot a commission during Fashion Week, aided by her cinematographer (Louis Garrel). Skeptical Maxine believes fashion is frivolous and capricious, but the opportunity is lucrative and she needs the work. During those days of filming, the director receives life-changing news and encounters women who, like her, face decisions that could alter the course of their lives. The film, both glossy and unsettling, reflects on how the female body is measured, monetized, and represented.

Premiere in cinemas in Catalunya.
