CosmoNits at CosmoCaixa.

CosmoCaixa presents a new edition of CosmoNits de Pel·licula, an open-air summer film cycle featuring science-fiction films screened in the Plaça de la Ciènica, at the CosmoCaixa.

This year the CosmoNits theme is the Sun, also the protagonist of the exhibition that you can visit at the Museum with the same ticket. An essential source of life for the Earth, it also has a destructive capacity if the protection of the atmosphere on the Earth is weakened. The possible effects of global warming and climate change often point to apocalyptic and bleak futures. In this pessimistic scenario in which the Earth could cease to be habitable, the exploration of space and possible life on other planets makes more sense than ever. Could the human being adapt and live outside the Earth?

Admission to CosmoNits includes access to the museum's temporary exhibit from 19:00 to 21:45, a live music session at 21:00 and the film screening which begins at 22:00. Films are shown in original version with subtitles in Spanish.

General admission is €6, children 16 and under are free. In case of rain the activity will be moved inside to the CosmoCaixa auditorium.
