Creative Writing Workshop at Collage

This eight-session workshop allows students to explore the world of creative writing, from reviewing the craft and experimenting with different genres within the discipline (fiction, nonfiction and poetry). The course is structured to develop a variety of skills, using in-class discussions and several writing and optional reading exercises. Students will also be given the opportunity to read their own work at a special Collage event, practicing the skill of showcasing their work to an audience. Each class lasts two hours, allowing students to make progress in their creative writing, whether a complete beginner or professional writer, and helping them to sharpen their craft.
