Clean-up of the Besòs River: Join in and Help Look After Our Surroundings
Parc Fluvial del Riu Besòs Passeig de la Rambleta s/n, 08930 Sant Adrià de Besòs
Would you like to get involved in caring for the environment and preserving the city’s natural spaces? You’re invited to take part in a community clean-up of the Besòs river, a key waterway facing major environmental challenges due to the accumulation of waste.
The initiative offers a hands-on way to help clear waste from the river, discover the type of waste that builds up there and better understand its impact on river ecosystems. The activity also involves weighing the waste by type, a highly visual way of gaining awareness of the scale of the problem.
Beyond this one-time event, the activity aims to promote reflection and more sustainable habits, offering practical tools that will help participants make small improvements to their everyday surroundings. This is an opportunity to learn, share and be part of the change towards a cleaner city that is more committed to the planet.
