Cinema Lliure a la Platja is a free taster of independent cinema that takes place on summer nights on various beaches along the Catalan coast. This edition will take place in Barcelona, Palamós and Tossa de Mar

Cinema Lliure a la Platja screens movies that have appeared at film festivals here and abroad throughout the year. Before the screening of each feature film, a short film selected by FILMETS Badalona Film Festival will be shown.

Keep in mind that food and chairs will not be provided, so make sure to pack something tasty and a blanket for a lovely beach picnic under the stars. You are encouraged to arrive early for a good seat closest to the screen!  Sessions in Barcelona must be booked online.

All sessions start immediately after dusk:

Barcelona (next to the CEM La Mar Bella): Aug 6,11, 13 & 20

Palamós (at Platja Gran de Palamós): Aug 9, 16 & 23

Tossa de Mar (at Platja Gran de Tossa de Mar): Aug 5 & 19
