Barcelona's newest Christmas Market, the Port Vell Fair, can be found at the foot on the Christopher Columbus Statue at the Rambla De Mar. It boasts the tallest Christmas tree that has been installed in all of Catalunya, a 31-meter-high vision lit with endless LED bulbs.
The grand Ferris wheel, a 400 square meter ice skating rink and a floating nativity scene are all designed to capture to festive spirit as guests make their way around the magical space. A light show, crafts, gastronomy, a musical show performed in the air and on the water, and numerous children's workshops and activities means that there’s something for the whole family.
Unlike some of the other fairs around the city, which finish on or before, Christmas Day, Port Vell’s fair continues until January 6th.
