This concert, specially conceived for the magical festive season, offers works by two of the most important Catalan composers of recent times, Salvador Brotons and Albert Guinovart, with a performance of the latter’s Gloria, originally composed in 2019 and arranged for the first time in a version for band.

The concert will also showcase traditional Catalan carols, reworked by Brotons and replete with the spiritual tradition of promoting universal messages like love and peace. The performances of two renowned vocal ensembles, the Cor Bruckner Barcelona and the Cor Madrigal, respectively conducted by Júlia Sesé and Pere Lluís Biosca, will be accompanied by the voice of soprano Maria Hinojosa.
