Cerdanya International Film Festival 2023
to

Founded in 2010 , The Cerdanya International Film Festival began as a short film competition showcasing the heritage, nature, landscape and people in the area. Over the years what was once a small village festival has become a prestigious event—a must-see for filmmakers in the summer—and now is one of the most important events in the region. The program includes short and feature-length fiction, fantasy, animation and documentary films.
At last year's edition Pere Puigbert's El vent que ens mou (2021) received the Best Film award, Vasily Chuprina's Artistic Character (2021) won Best International Short Film and Emilio López Azuaga's La Perrera (2022) won the Special Audience Award. Designed to bring cinema closer to the audience, activities include children’s sessions and late-night showings.
For film industry professionals, the festival offers workshops, conferences, exhibitions and guided tours around the main attractions of Puigcerdà.
