Cerdanya International Film Festival 2022
to

The Cerdanya International Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cinema de Cerdanya) was founded in 2010 as a short film competition that showcased the heritage, nature, landscape and people in the area. Over the years what was once a small village festival has become a prestigious event—a must-see for filmmakers in the summer—and now is one of the most important events in the region. The program includes short and feature-length fiction, fantasy, animation and documentary films.
Last year's edition opened with the documentary El niño de fuego (Ignacio Acconcia) and included screenings of Essay Love (Doopyo Hong), Europa (Lucas del Fresno), Lovebirds ( Víctor Moreno), Rise (Paul Cheung), The News (Lorin Terezi) and many, many more. Designed to bring cinema closer to the audience, activities include children’s sessions and late-night showings.
Also, for film industry professionals, the festival offers workshops, conferences, exhibitions and guided tours around the main attractions of Puigcerdà.
