The artichoke is a significant crop in the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park and a symbol of Sant Boi de Llobregat. In recognition of this celebrated vegetable, the gastronomic and popular festival la carxofada is celebrated every spring.

Throughout the day you'll discover workshops, cooking demonstrations, a traditional trobada de puntaires (lace making gathering), a fresh vegetable market with local produce on display and local restaurateurs offer tasting menus with the artichoke taking center stage.
