Once again the Bachcelona Festival opens with Shunske Sato, the prestigious Baroque violinist and the artistic director of the Nederlandse Bachvereniging, the foremost institution devoted to Bach in the Netherlands.

On this occasion Shunske Sato will interpret three cantatas featuring movements of the brilliant instrumental concerts that Bach composed in Köthen, an inspired music in the Italian style which accompanied him throughout his lifetime.
