Brit Under Fest

Poble Espanyol Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia 13, 08038 Barcelona
Barcelona gets ready to host a new cultural hub with a British accent. The Carpa Pícnic at Poble Espanyol will set stage for the first edition of Brit Under Fest, a festival celebrating contemporary British creativity through music, literature, art, fashion and gastronomy in an inclusive environment for all audiences.
Inspired by the legacy of great British bands and the energy of new generations, the festival offers a multidisciplinary experience connecting emerging talent with cultural icons. Highlights include Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting, and legendary designer Neville Brody, a key figure in British graphic design, joining forces for a talk on creativity and cultural revolution.
The musical lineup maps out a vibrant sonic journey through Edinburgh, Dublin, and Manchester, featuring bands like Bikini Body, Hungry, Silverbacks, and Pynch, alongside Cooper T and King No-One. Beyond the concerts, the festival will showcase a photo exhibition from the British Culture Archive and a provocative performance by Sylvester, where fashion, art, and attitude meet with a contemporary edge.
