Book Exchange for Sant Jordi's Day
to
Centre Cívic Vil·la Urània Carrer de Saragossa 29, 08006 Barcelona
Bring in a book that you would like to trade so that someone else can discover it and, on Sant Jordi's Day, adopt another one!
Give a Book
First, drop off a book (or three)! From April 15th to the 22nd, you can bring up to three books that you want to exchange to the reception desk of the Centre Cívic Vil·la Urània. For each book you will receive a point that you can exchange for another book on the day of the exchange.
Get a Book!
The exchange will take place on April 23rd, from 17:00 to 19:00 in Plaça Mañé i Flaquer. There will be an exchange stand there, and you just need to bring your points to choose among all the books that have been collected!
Conditions
- All books must be in good condition and published after the year 2000. Books with torn pages, damaged bindings or other serious damage will not be accepted.
- Only narrative, poetry and theater books will be accepted (textbooks, encyclopedias, etc. are excluded).
- A maximum of three books per person will be accepted.
- Each book is equivalent to one exchange point and each point allows you to take one book on the day of the exchange.
- Drop off days at the Civic Center counter are April 15th to 22nd: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00, Saturday from 10:30 to 13:30 and from 16:30 to 19:30.
- Exchange day: Thursday April 23rd, from 17:00 to 19:00, at Plaça Mañé i Flaquer. There will be a specific stall set up for the exchange.
