Saxophonist, composer and arranger Bernard van Rossum leads a quartet of his own compositions and evocative, landscape-like, lyrical, melodious and rhythmically solid music. The formation is completed by great Catalan musicians with brilliant careers: pianist Xavi Torres, double bassist Joan Comaposada and drummer Joan Terol.

In addition to leading this quartet, Van Rossum is known for directing the BvR Flamenco Big Band, with three recorded albums and collaborators of the caliber of Carles Benavent, Antonio Serrano and David de Jocoba. According to the prestigious digital publication All About Jazz, Bernard van Rossum's arrangements and “attractive compositions” transmit “sharpness and authenticity.”
