Barcelona Design Week brings the design world closer to the public by showing the transformative capacity of design in the face of the unprecedented changes we are experiencing throughout society in social, economic, ecological and cultural spheres.

Facing a global scenario marked by uncertainty, complexity and volatility, design is a key element for people’s present and future. In this sense, this year the organizers of Design Week have a clear goal: to emphasize design as a tool for resilience.

Creative resilience is the ability to face adversity with intelligence and creativity, aiming to improve and transform our environment with an optimistic view of the future. This edition of BDW will explore how creativity can become a fundamental tool to drive resilience in an increasingly complex and changing world, where global challenges require creative and sustainable solutions. BDW 2025 will explore how creativity can help us build a more resilient future. Conferences, workshops, exhibitions, installations and a wide range of other activities included in this event take place in venues all over the city.
