Promoted and led by Ivan Kovacevic, the Barcelona Big Blues Band has become one of the most powerful and popular line-ups in this country’s swing, jazz and R&B circuit. Its energetic, wild, but also sophisticated music makes it a unique, irresistible group. Following in the tradition of great musicians like T-Bone Walker and Johnny Otis, Barcelona Big Blues Band also regularly incorporates top class soloists. This time, three excellent saxophonists are playing together, including Pere Miró, Big Dani Pérez & Spencer Evoy, in a special edition of Sax-o-Rama as part of the Jamboree El Grec concert series.
