Crossing cultural barriers: what every expatriate should know about living in Barcelona
The most valuable skill for the 21st century is the ability to work in different cultures, according to a Harvard Business Review study.
This interactive session in English will present the main skills and basic attitudes to successfully handle a diverse cultural environment and will be given tips and tricks to work and live in Barcelona and adapt to the culture and lifestyle of the city.
TRAINER
Claudia Issa Benítez is a professor of intercultural communication with over 15 years of experience in working with universities and corporate organizations to prepare their teams and individuals to effectively manage their personal and professional intercultural challenges.
Claudia has presented diverse workshops and training seminars focusing on intercultural management and communication and has developed the inter cultural game “Diversophy – Barcelona” to help teach cultural adjustment competencies in a relaxed informal manner.
Helping people to thrive in a different culture than their own or when they are working as a member or a leader of a multi-cultural team is her passion.
