Averroès & Rosa Parks, Nicolas Philibert (France, 2024)

Averroès and Rosa Parks are two units at the Esquirol Hospital which, like the Adamant, are part of the Central Psychiatric Group in Paris. Through individual interviews and meetings between caregivers and patients, Philibert focuses on showing a form of psychiatry that continually strives to give space and rehabilitate the word of patients. Little by little, each one opens a door to his or her world. In an increasingly worn-out health system, how can a space be found for those who are forgotten?

Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Catalan.
