Gospel & Jazz, Notes Solidàries per Badalona

From a four-voice formation to a choir of 70 singers, this night promises to take you through a musical journey showcasing how gospel and jazz, whose roots both originate in African music, can come together through today's modern music to create something special. Heavily soulful and not afraid to extend the boundaries of what defines certain musical genres, Gospel & Jazz, Notes Solidàries per Badalona, takes residency here in Barcelona for one evening to give an original twist on the traditional jazz that is so popular in the city.
Taking place in the beautiful Sala Pau Casals with exceptional acoustics, there will be performances from Erwyn Seerutton's Ensemble as well as Cor de Gospel Sant Cugat, and what makes this performance even more special is that all money raised will go to Fundació Ateneu Sant Roc and the IGTP, a very worthy cause that raises money for children, teenagers and adults living in Sant Roc de Badalona who face social hardship and exlusion.
