A demanding selection of the best animated shorts and feature films from around the world.

The International Animation Film Festival of Catalonia was established in 1996. It is an noncompetitive meeting point for animation artists and professionals and a national and international point of reference.

Audiences of all ages visit its cinemas to enjoy a program with both narrative and experimental productions. Animac caters extensively for children and young people: in sections such as Animacrea, children can enjoy various workshops where they learn about the secrets of animation.

In other spaces, professionals from different sectors and students from different disciplines meet to present projects still in development, learn about the most innovative techniques or discuss the current state of animation.
