Alfa Mist is a multi-instrumentalist, rapper and producer from East London known for prioritizing emotion over perfectionism. Since his 2015 debut, Nocturne, he has established himself as one of the UK’s most distinctive and sought-after musical voices. His collaborations include artists such as Jordan Rakei, Tom Misch and Loyle Carner as well as work with Blue Note Records, Ólafur Arnalds and the London Contemporary Orchestra.

Blending intimate production with expansive jazz arrangements, Alfa Mist defies classification within a single genre. Raised on London grime and hip-hop, he later discovered jazz through producers such as Madlib and J Dilla, an influence that led him to teach himself the piano and shape his unique musical language.
