Alexandre Tharaud is one of the star pianists of his generation, which also features great performers such as Alexander Melnikov and Isabelle Faust. This season he will step onto the stage of the Palau de la Música Catalana alone, with a selection of pieces by Lully, Rameau, Couperin... a whole repertoire of French composers with whom he shares his country of origin, and who reveal to us the splendor of French culture in the 17th and 18th centuries. The exuberance and ostentation of life at the Court of Versailles made France the epicenter of the arts.
