Alexandra Levasseur: Playing with fire and the dance
French-Canadian artist Alexandra Levasseur creates touching, colourful female figures that illustrate a range of human emotions in response to a change of surroundings. The result is truly captivating.
This September she presents her exhibition at Espacio Visible where she will screen her first animated short film, Playing with Fire, taking us to a beautiful, dreamlike kingdom and a series of her drawings entitled The Dance, depicting the body's musicality and rhythm.
