The Alex Kautz Quartet brings together four acclaimed voices in contemporary jazz: drummer and composer Alex Kautz, saxophonist John Ellis, bassist Matt Penman and guitarist Fabio Gouvêa. Together, they perform music from Kautz’s latest release, Where We Begin—a vibrant blend of modern jazz infused with Brazilian and Afro-Latin rhythms.
