With its unusual instrumentation, the trio Akagera offers a unique soundscape where genres intertwine, an open-world jazz experience with entirely new orchestrations.

The group presents their new album Traverse, which reflects the diversity of origins and influences of the three musicians: classical and contemporary music for Benoit, a blend of South America and the Caribbean for Stéphane, and African rhythms and Brazilian grooves for David, all while reaffirming their shared passion for jazz.

On this occasion, the trio invites Joana Voisin, a young French-Catalan singer and songwriter influenced by jazz, flamenco and traditional music. Her delicate voice will join the captivating sounds of the instrumentalists in a unique artistic creation, presented for the first time at Jamboree!
