They say that the Kingdom of Bhutan, located on the southern side of the Himalayas, is the happiest country on earth. The documentary follows the routine of Amber, one of the seventy-five government workers hired to measure people’s happiness on a mathematical scale. The calculation of the country’s gross national happiness is based on material aspects such as the number of cows, goats or tractors that someone possesses, and also on subjective and much more abstract criteria: Do you trust your neighbors? How do you balance work and family life? What's your sense of karma? On his remote journey through the Himalayan mountains investigating people’s happiness, Amber seeks fulfillment.

Film will be screened in original version ( Nepali, Dzongkha and English) with subtitles in English and Catalan.
