Acte 14: Isaki Lacuesta & Isa Campo, Goggle Earth 1.0
to
Fundació Suñol - Nivell Zero Rosselló 240, 08008 Barcelona
The sub-title of this exhibition is 'Places that don't exist (Goggle [sic.] Earth 1.0)', and the video-art that it features (the winner of the first grant awarded by the Fundació Suñol for a video project) shows places that are hidden on the system of aerial maps that make up Google Earth, because of their seemingly sensitive nature: military installations, training camps, government buildings and naturist beaches. The two artists, Isaki Lacuesta and Isa Campo have visited the 'invisible' places, which are located in Spain, Colombia and Russia amongst other countries, to film the reality of their existence compared to what Google Earth shows.
