Formed in Barcelona in 2005, A Contra Blues has established itself as one of the most solid and versatile bands on the European rock and blues scene. With twenty years of uninterrupted career, the group has developed its own sound that combines traditional roots with contemporary energy and an unmistakable personality. Since its inception, the band has stood out for the power and authenticity of its live performance, where it displays a unique complicity with the audience and a capacity for adaptation that allows them to shine in very diverse settings: from major international festivals to theaters, auditoriums and small-format venues. Over the course of two decades, A Contra Blues has built a career marked by perseverance, creativity and passion, always faithful to a way of understanding music as a living, close and honest experience.

In these two decades, A Contra Blues has toured stages all over Europe, adding hundreds of concerts and participating in some of the most prestigious festivals on the circuit. In 2014 the band achieved a fundamental milestone by winning the European Blues Challenge, one of the most important international awards in the genre. Their trajectory includes collaborations, international tours and a discography that reflects both artistic evolution and commitment to authenticity. With each work, the band has expanded musical horizons and consolidated a proposal that today places them as an essential reference within the blues and rock made in Europe.
