The Eleventh Barcelona Jewish Film Festival kicks off today with three days of evening conferences at the Espai Llengua i Cultura (Avinyó 52, free entry). Then, from Saturday 30th, film showings will take place between the Institut Français and Plaça Sant Felip Neri: the first screening (Plaça Sant Felip Neri, 10pm, free entry) is Noodle, a 2007 Israeli film about Miri, an El Al air hostess and two-time widow, who finds herself having to take care of the son of her Chinese cleaner, after she's deported from Israel.
