Continuing the series of conversations with authors, both local and international, this Thursday, Ramon Colom will interview the Israeli writer David Grossman at the Jaume Fuster public library (Plaça Lesseps 20-22) at 7.30pm. Grossman is a leading contemporary Israeli writer and his work (which includes essays, books for children and novels for adults) has been translated into 25 different languages. His most recent work is Writing in the Dark, a non-fiction collection that discusses the Israeli-Palestine conflict, an ongoing confrontation that affected Grossman personally with the death of his son Uri in the 2006 Israeli-Lebanon war.
