Stephen Grant is a Brigton-based comedian known for his compere work at the Krater Comedy Club and has been the warm-up act for so many TV programmes the list runs off the page. Artists booked include Oscar Abril Ascaso and Colectivo 96º, Amalia Fernández, Gerald Kurdian and Davis Freeman who perform a variety of genres such as micro-dances and special choreography based on muscle movement. The latest is understood by many to be their first segue into something danceable, preferring in previous years to concentrate on psychedelic shoe-gazing territory. Bob MillsFans of Nineties daytime television might be familiar with the Laughter Lounge's guest comedian. Bob Mills was the frontman for the classic gameshow Win, Lose or Draw, a televised game of pictionary. Despite a small breakaway into comedy writing he's back doing what he loves best, stand-up. Times New VikingWith the craze for all things lo-fi and DIY then the band Times New Viking who share the bill with Crystal Antlers at Apolo tonight are doing everything right. With their home-recorded sound has not been lost since moving to the more corporate settings of Matador records they're currently touring 2009's Born Again Revisited album. Apolo, Saturday, 8pm

Drums of DeathPicked up by Alex Waldron and Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, Drums of Death is the alter-ego of Scottish DJ Colin Bailey. She and HimNot happy with being a cool indie film star Zooey Deschanel is now a member of an increasingly cool indie band. Alongside Matt Ward, the him from She and Him met on a filmset whilst he was recording a soundtrack and decided to take their music on the road. They're now touring their second album.
