Five minutes of heaven
The films released this weekend:
Solo Ellos (Boys are Back in Town) - A melancholy film starring Clive Owen set in the beaches of Australia where a man becomes the sole provider of his two young boys after the sudden death of his second wife.
Exposados (The Bounty Hunter) - Slated by critics and a box-office flop elsewhere, this movie stars Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. Butler is a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter who gets his dream job when he has to track down his bail skipping ex-wife.
Ciudad de Vida y Muerte (City of Life and Death) - Lu Chuan directs this film based on the Nanking Massacre of December, 1937, when Japanese troops occupied the eastern Chinese city and killed over 300,000 citizens.
Cinco Minutos de Gloria (Five Minutes of Heaven) - Based on true life events, this film deals with the troubles in Ireland and focuses on the meeting of two Irishmen forever linked through the violent acts of the past. Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt have both been praised for their strong turns.
