Moneyball: Rompiendo las Reglas (Moneyball) - Based on the true story of Oakland Athletic's coach, Billy Beane, Moneyball tells the tale of a depleted American baseball team who are hampered by financial restrictions and are forced to release their star players to bigger clubs. Brad Pitt plays the role of Beane, the under-pressure coach who changes the system of the sport forever by using statistical analysis to select his players and a variety of innovative tactics never seen in the modern game. Supported by tactical analysist Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), they are determined to change the face of baseball and create an unlikely championship winning side.
Los Muppets (The Muppets) - Everyone's favourite puppets are back this year with a new, hilarious family film. When three avid fans discover that an evil oil tycoon is planning to destroy the Muppet theatre in order to get access to the oil below, they begin a desperate mission to re-unite all the Muppets to begin a campaign to save the theatre. Comedy action from Kermit and the gang.
Redención (Tyrannosaur) - Paddy Considine makes a spectacular directing debut with what critics are touting as one of the British films of the year. Joseph (Peter Mullan) is a broken man with a violent and self-destructive nature and anger problems. As his life begins to spiral out of control, he meets a Christian charity shop worker, Hannah, who becomes his salvation. However, he soon discovers that her problems could put them both in grave danger. Powerful human drama.
